DETROIT CAREGIVERS BLACK CHURCH NETWORK

This initiative underscores the Black church’s role in

strengthening family ties and community resilience, ensuring

that no member of the Black Community navigates their

difficulties alone. Through these efforts, the Call to Care

Ministry enhances the communal spirit, making it a

cornerstone of healing health trauma in the Black Church

Community.

"Bridging Generations: Innovative Caregiver Ministry for Young Adults and Seniors," seeks to establish a groundbreaking ministry that pairs young adult caregivers with senior citizens in our community. This initiative is designed not only to provide essential support and companionship to our elderly members but also to empower young adults through mentorship opportunities, skills development, and spiritual growth.

Our prototype is designed to address the growing need for caregiving within our community, fostering an environment where young and old can learn from each other, share experiences, and cultivate a deeper understanding of Black Christian Nationalist service.
