Woods, Dexter Sullivan, Pastor Maurice Hardwick, Leslie Windless, Kimberly Moore, Juanita Moore, Rozenia Johnson, Jessica Drake and Dr. Julia research contiued to move our work forward.

H2BE's  projects are the foundation and model for healing trauma from racial color hate policies and practices within community policing in East Downtown Dearborn.

Dearborn as a whole was documented as part of a border patrol, sundown town and racial profiling roadway where Black African Americans traveling, visiting or working were economic victims of public safety misuse of traffic citations and arrest with cooperative data analaysis. It’s no secret that citations take money from the African American Community.

The history of Dearborn role in and how racially segregated the city was in the past 79 years must be repaired by Black organizations, Black students, families and communities as it relates to Black African American Residents choosing to integrate here.

"This is a common language space that is discussed all the time through an equity lens of high visibility traffic enforcement. Dearborn Police Department's Officers practiced, enforced and model these laws while looking for other types of crimes, alienating innocent African Americans with minor low level traffic offenses and racial profiling. This is over policing, targeted policing poverty and African Americans that has deteriorated community relationships and has failed to make our community safer (2022 Zoom Interview)."

Searching and arrest and citation there are disparities in the stopping of the arrest. African Americans are searched and arrested more than any other population.

Homage 2 BE provides a chance for persons to give, offer support and bring high level transformation to the traumas that African Americans have experienced.

We are helping to form community based solutions digging in deeply with credible messengers, referrals and resources that are successful methodologies with a collab approach.

H2BE is much deeper and fluid in the sense of building a trustful and accessible relationships.
